Return and Exchange Policies
Your flutes are packed for shipping with the utmost care. However, if a flute should arrive damaged in shipping, we will gladly credit your next order. In order to receive your credit, you must contact us within 3 days of receipt by either telephone or e-mail. We will assign you a return ID and credit your account upon receipt of the damaged flute.
Each Flute is Unique
All bamboo is sorted for quality before the flute making process is undertaken. Due to the organic nature of the bamboo plant, each piece is unique and its individual markings and shape add to the personality of the flutes. (Note: The blonde colored bamboo tends to show more markings.)
Refused Packages
If for any reason shipment is refused by you, refunds are limited to your purchase price less a 15% restocking fee. We regret that we cannot refund shipping fees.
A Few Tips
Due to the sensitivity of bamboo to the elements and handling, we cannot guarantee your flute once it is in your possession. All of our bamboo is cured for a minimum of 6 months and generously oil treated to minimize its vulnerability to developing hairline cracks. There are several things you can do to insure your flute's longevity:
1. Keep your flutes out of direct sunlight or sudden temperature changes
2. Oil your flutes regularly with a food grade oil, such as walnut or sesame.
3. Wrapping (Binding) your flutes will virtually guarantee that it will never crack.
